high level of bismuth and other toxins in my body

A hair analysis showed a high level of bismuth and other toxins in my body. I am trying to eliminate bismuth and noticed it is in some of my cosmetics, specifically the foundation and some eye shadows. The company is Bare Essentials and I love the products.

I can not find any other source of bismuth that could have caused such high levels. I did use pepto bismol on ocassion over the past 20 years. Is the effect cummulative? What is the effect of high levels of bismuth?

I too had a hair analysis done and my Bismuth level is very high. I also use Bare Escentuals/Bare Minerals makeup. Hmmm? I also found a website that said "Salts of bismuth are used as a positive contrast agent in X-ray examination." I have had 6 CT Scans in the last 2 years and wonder if the IV-contrast from the CT Scans has caused my high bismuth level?
