starting a assisted living home

My dream is to open up assisted living home
in Jacksonville,FL. And i would like to know what are
the frist step in geting started, I have been working
in the nursing field for 20 years I worked in a nursing home for 5 years from there I went to working in the hospitals as a medical technicaian. I believe
that people are living longer. and when they get to a
place in their life were they need assistant. because of failing health and they can know longer be lift a lone, and need a nice place were they can feel at home a way from home and be treated with loving kindness I like to think of them as kings and queeens. I Would like to do 8 t0 15 beds.

I would like to know the steps to start an assistant living home in the state of Md. How do I begin? Are there funds available to start a home?
