Starting an assisted living facility.

I would like to open an assisted living facility. What steps should I take to get started. Are there any funds available to help me get started. Is this a good investment.

Yes, I am trying to start an assisted living myself... how has your business progressed and did you find any funding? I am a single mother and have little, if nothing for start-up,and am seeking investors to assist in my start-up of the business. Please let me know if you have been successful... thanks.. ~PY
