Hi, my son is nearly 15 now and has not been diagnosed althought he has had several medical tests done which come back negative. He fits into many categories but nothing fits him in particular. He was 9lb 10.5 ounces born with a 49.3cm head. He was a floppy baby which I put down to him having a big head, he also had a large tummy and was very colicky as a baby. Pregnancy was normal although I had my first and only outbreak of genital herpes at about 10weeks and then a bout of chickenpox at 8 mths which was not too severe. I was induced due to being 2 weeks overdue and only recall morning sickness as being one morning with a quick spew. His symptoms are an insatiable appetite, lack of muscle tone although this is improving with age, behind in all milestones, a low IQ, limited eye contact which we always correct, unable to control himself from doing the wrong thing if he really wants to do it but knows it's wrong to do, Poor large and fine motor skills although this has also improved with age. He's similar to ADD yet also Prader Willi syndrome but doesn't quite fit these descriptions either. He has blonde hair (so do I and my other children, they have different father) His nose is very small and the bridge is small too making his eyes appear one lidded like a chinese person although this has improved with growth,they are a greeny colour. He has large feet and is not lacking in the genital region. As a baby lots of cradle cap, he also didn't suckle for 3 days after being born but he thrived and was a chubby baby! Can you enlighten me of any other possible causes. Tracy.
