Interested in working at an Assisted Living Facility.

To whom it may concern,
My name is Mary and I am very interested in working at an Assistant Living Facility, Residential care home, Adult home, or something similar. I have no previous training or experience in participating in this kind of work. However, I want to learn to help others meet the life style changes they face. I would be very dedicated to work in a community setting or in their home. I have currently been working on a resume to increase my chances of working in Personal Care. I am just unsure as to if i need to get schooling first, or have previous history and experience. If you have any suggestions or comments on my situation, I would greatly appreicate a response.
